Last weekend marked my 2nd and 3rd visits to the said mall. And mind you, the crowd size was still ginormous. It was like a colony of ants going to and fro only with no absolute purpose other than to be in the packed space. Fortunately for us, we had a bit of a purpose, that is to buy books, see a movie, and eat. Well, we achieved the first with 66 peso purchases of the two towers, return of the king, forrest gump and two winnie the pooh storybooks.
We got to accomplish second goal with a regrettable 270 pesos to see a Filipino thriller which was rather unsatisfying. I would rather not mention the title for fear of further deriding my reputation.
My daughter was all gimpy with her excitement to go to a jampacked Jollibee which is unpassable even for a teenie tiny stick. We had to settle again for consecutive days (for me) for Molin for Grill which was the only resto with vacant seats. The same cannot be said for a stall in the second floor. How can a souvenir shop/pasalubong center showcasing pilinuts ever expect to get income? It was the only place you can be comfortable to extend your elbows.
My only gripe was not being able to give my kid all her qualms due mainly to a tight budget and as I have mentioned for the umpteenth time, the very very large crowd. So, these are the pics of my daugther, salivating at the prospect of enjoying SM:
